The crisis in Yemen has led to a significant destruction of jobs and sources of livelihoods. About 8.4 million conflict-affected people require livelihood assistance to enhance self-reliance on basic needs and reduce dependence on relief assistance. In Hadhramaut, the suffering worsened further after receiving thousands of IDPs, in addition to its repeated crises with natural disasters. This cash project came to help the targeted families recover from the impact of the crisis and enhance their resilience, through cash-for-work assistance.
